Woman with Tiger Sarah is a fabric artist living in Victoria, British Columbia. She is represented by the Fran Willis Gallery. Sarah says: "This quilt is a bit old now. Currently I'm doing appliqued 'paintings' (I don't have a good word for it!), exploring the themes of dream, magic, and storytelling, with a critical edge." |

Paths Kathy made her first quilt in 1982 and has worked in series on color, improvisation, and landscape. Kathy says: "I believe quilters tend to be wonderful because of the hours they spend in solitude: working almost meditatively over a project they have already envisioned completed." |
